Undergraduate

PCSB students receive a well-rounded education that features real-world, experiential learning within a values-based academic program. In the classroom and beyond, our students apply business theory to solve practical problems.

Providence College’s liberal arts foundation and Catholic, Dominican tradition allow business graduates to think critically and make business decisions that balance the often conflicting demands of the marketplace, global environment, and society. They understand the importance of behaving ethically in their professional lives and in nurturing strong interpersonal relationships. They know how to communicate effectively and how to use the latest technology.

The PCSB’s small classes, one-on-one faculty advising, and emphasis on innovative teaching and high-quality scholarship develop socially responsible graduates. Our students are lifelong learners, ethical professionals, and effective agents of change.

Undergraduate degrees are offered in accountancy, finance, management, and marketing; minors are available in accountancy and finance; and a business studies certificate program is available for non-business majors.

The Providence College School of Business gives students the training and experience needed to reach their goals. In addition to out-of-classroom experiences that include studying abroad, interning, and participating in PCSB student life, classes provide hands-on, real-world experience in accountancy, marketing, finance, operations, management, ethics, and global business. Students in the undergraduate business program develop analytical, strategic, and strong communication skills — crucial tools for a successful career.
