Brief Biography:
John J. Schibler received his Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Rhode Island. He is a seasoned executive with 50 years of diversified business experience having held positions as a partner in a Big 4 accounting firm, several C-suite executive positions, and a senior-level consultant. He has considerable experience in the healthcare industry and currently consults in the areas of health care, finance, strategy, and operations improvement.

The effectiveness of top management teams and the application of social capital (relationships) within organizations, the relationship of organizational culture and organizational corruption, organizational effectiveness, mergers of healthcare organizations
Teaching Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy has been equally informed by my academic and business experiences. Relevancy and practicality are core to my teaching. As a result, fundamental to my teaching approach is to assist students in bridging business theory with its practical application in organizations. My teaching philosophy is guided by: “How can I best prepare students for their careers and their personal and professional lives?”
