Thank you for your interest in the Providence College Ethics in Business Education Program’s 2020 Michael Smith Regional Ethics Case Competition, to be held virtually on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
For this competition, teams comprised of three or four undergraduate students will analyze a business ethics case over a two-week period prior to November 7, and then present their solution to a panel of judges. We will hold both a preliminary round and a final round on November 7. There will be a $2,400 prize for the first place team and a $1,200 prize for the second place team. All teams are required to have an adviser.
Up to 12 teams will compete, and each school is limited to one team. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The 2020 registration fee is:
$100 for up to 4 students and 1 advisor to participate in the competition and for faculty members to participate in the Teaching Business Ethics – Best Practices conference.
$50 for faculty to participate only in the Teaching Business Ethics – Best Practices conference.
