James Perry Jr. (he, him, his) joined the Providence College School of Business in August of 2023. James joins PCSB after serving as associate director for equity & inclusive initiatives and director of retention at Lasell University. Additionally, James was an adjunct professor where he instructed a required first-year Sociology course, Equity and Intersectionality. James previously held positions in academic advising and counseling at the University of Rhode Island and the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, respectively. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in education, with a specialization in multicultural and antiracist education, from Antioch University. James earned a master of public policy, with a concentration in education policy, from UMass Dartmouth and a bachelor’s degree in human services from Fisher College.
