PC’s School of Business ranked as one of the “top 50 best undergraduate business schools” for fourth straight year
The Providence College School of Business was ranked one of the top 50 undergraduate business schools in the United States by Poets&Quants for Undergraduates, reaching #37 on the 2023 list. The school has consistently ranked among the top schools on the list and first reached the top 50 in 2020.
Poets&Quants uses a comprehensive ranking methodology that considers admission standards, academic excellence, and employment outcomes. Results are based on school-reported data and a survey of recent graduates. As in 2022, PC’s business school is the top ranked liberal arts institution in New England on the list.
“News of the PCSB’s continued rise in the Poets & Quants ranking is immensely gratifying, especially because the competition is stiffer every year,” said Sylvia Maxfield, Ph.D., the school’s dean. “Based heavily on anonymous student feedback and on job placements, this ranking validates how hard we work to support and challenge PCSB students in ways that yield meaningful college experiences and fulfilling careers.”
This is the seventh year Poets&Quants has created its ranked list. PCSB earned its first ranking, #63, in 2017, ascended to #52 in 2018, and reached #41 in 2020, followed by #47 in 2021 and #40 in 2022.
