“Overall, I have gained a lot of experience from this program. The Berkeley Scholars program has pushed me out of my comfort zone and has made me take advantage of various opportunities. Two of the biggest and most impactful experiences I have gained from the Berkeley Scholars program are the informational interviews I conducted over the summer and the recent mock interview with PwC. Although I could have done these things independently, the program encouraged and helped me actually do these things. On top of the informational interviews and mock interviews, I have also had the opportunity to connect and listen to various successful Providence alumni.”

“I feel like I’ve gained a better sense in how to enter in the business industry and hopefully be successful in. Before, I was nervous and unsure on how I would network and operate in the professional field, yet I feel like Berkeley Business Scholars have begun to help me feel prepared for that. “

“I have gained the ability to network with alumni and current faculty to augment my chances at an internship and future employment opportunities. A valuable experience I gained from the Berkeley Scholars initiative was the informational interviews we conducted over the summer to gain insight on different business sectors from PC alum.”

“The main takeaway that I have gained from being a Berkeley scholar has been a developed understanding about how to network. Through the program, I have learned to create and foster professional relationships with both peers and alumni. I am grateful for the opportunity that the program has given me to grow and develop a skill set that has prepared me for my future professional endeavors.”
