Meet the 2025 – 2026 Benjamin Family Social Media Fellows

The Providence College School of Business is excited to introduce the newest cohort of the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship. Chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants, these talented students will play a key role in advancing the PC Business brand. Through this fellowship, this dynamic group will gain hands-on experience by creating, analyzing, and strategizing content across all PC Business social media platforms, further honing their skills in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
Nico Maioriello ’26 – Chief Content Officer
Nico Maioriello ’26 is a marketing and management double major from Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Coming from a long family history of successful marketers and salespeople in the pharmaceutical industry, he feels as though he is naturally suited for a career in a marketing/management role with seasoned interpersonal skills, selling skills, and communication abilities. This summer, Maioriello will be interning at Amazon in a management capacity. He looks forward to his time at the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship as he looks to sharpen my leadership skills and abilities while learning about the ins and outs of digital marketing from the extremely knowledgeable advisors, professors, and executives that the program has put together for us.

Kate Sardone ’27 – Creative Director

Kate Sardone ’27 is a marketing major and communications minor from Winchester, Massachusetts. On campus, Sardone works for the Providence College men’s and women’s ice hockey teams as well as the women’s softball team, where she creates engaging and trendy content for their various social media accounts throughout the seasons. Additionally, she is a member of the women’s club soccer team. Outside of campus, Sardone works full-time as a brand ambassador and digital marketing specialist for STRIVE, driving the growth of their coffee shop and restaurant through innovative digital marketing strategies. Sardone is very grateful for the opportunity to represent and elevate the Providence College School of Business brand. She is eager to collaborate with fellow fellows and utilize her skills and experience to significantly impact the community!
Daniel Singh ’26 – Community Manager
Daniel Singh ’26 is an honors psychology and marketing student on the pre-law track at PC. Born and raised in New York City, Singh’s passion for business, entrepreneurship, and community has developed out of an desire to advance his hometown and loved ones in his environment. He seeks to fulfill this in his career as a lawyer, but also wants to achieve this at PC through the creation and moderation of content designed for PC students and alumni, among other key stakeholders.

Mackenzie Lagner ’26 – Research Analyst

Mackenzie Lagner ’26 is a marketing major and data science minor from Pembroke, Massachusetts. Last semester she interned as a marketing and social media intern in Copenhagen, Denmark, for the Nyberg Group. On campus, Mackenzie is a member of the Women in Business Club and currently works for Providence College Athletics as a marketing game-day assistant. She is excited to further her knowledge in digital marketing and data analysis, as well as grateful for the opportunity to work with the other fellows.
John Murphy ’26 – Research Analyst
John Murphy ’26 is a marketing major from Altadena, California. Murphy studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, in Fall 2024 where he interned at a sustainable startup company and played a role in their business development. He is currently on the PC Club Pickleball team and has been elected president for the 2025-26 school year. John is excited to expand his digital marketing knowledge and experience with the fellowship team next year.

Brooke Barreira ’26 – Editor

Brooke Barreria ’26 is a marketing major and finance minor from Foxboro, Massachusetts. On campus, Brooke has been a member of the clubs Love Your Melon and Women in Business. Last semester, she was able to work and learn from a business consulting company on the marketing team while studying abroad in Prague. Last summer, Barreria was a customer success Intern for a small company called Meal Ticket. Next summer, she is interning at Staples as a merchandising intern. She is looking forward to contributing to the fellowship team as well as learning and growing over the next year. She is also excited to make an impact on PC Business through the fellowship and work with the other fellows too!
Tessa Izzo ’26 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Tessa Izzo ’26 is from Cranston, Rhode Island, double majoring in management and marketing. She is a proud member of the Providence College Dance Team and is actively involved in the Women in Business Club. Izzo also works in the Chirico Career Center as a student worker, where she co-hosts a weekly video series called Rapid Recap Roundup, highlighting upcoming campus events on the PCFriarLife Instagram account. This summer, she will intern in corporate finance at CVS Health, and in the fall, she looks forward to serving as an orientation leader for the incoming Class of 2029. Passionate about digital media and communication, Izzo is eager to continue growing her skills through the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship. She is especially excited for the opportunity to create authentic, engaging content for the PC Business community that strengthens campus connection and celebrates the student experience at Providence College.

Enni Holmsten ’26 – Digital Marketing Consultant

Enni Holmsten ’26 is a marketing and management major originally from Stockholm, Sweden. In 2018, Holmsten relocated to New York, where she has pursued her studies and professional experiences in marketing. In addition to being selected for the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship, she will also serve as the publicist for the PC Dance Club next year, managing and curating content for their social media accounts. Last fall, Holmsten had the opportunity to study abroad in London, where she interned at Warner Music Group, working closely with the Global Digital Accounts department. Additionally Holmsten has been an intern at PopHouse Entertainment for the past two summers where she gained valuable experience in social media marketing and ESG strategies. Holmsten is beyond excited to be a part of the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship and looks forward to further developing her creative and strategic skills in social media marketing through hands-on experience.
Isabella Berrocal ’26 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Bella Berrocal ’26 is a double major in marketing and management from Rye, New York. On campus, she is a coordinator for Urban Action, a member of the clubs and organizations committee on Student Congress, and a member of the news committee for PCTV. She has had numerous experiences working with social media marketing in multiple areas within Providence College. More specifically, in the fall, she worked as a student media worker for Providence College Athletics, where she filmed in-game highlights for the men’s and women’s basketball teams and men’s hockey. Currently, she is studying abroad in Barcelona and has had the opportunity to spend her semester working on consulting for CellFlow, a start-up biotechnological company specializing in blood separation based in Spain. She feels honored to be chosen for this opportunity and is excited to continue her impact at Providence College. She is looking forward for this upcoming year with the fellows and to apply her social media experience to the team and continue to learn!

Grace Child ’26 – Digital Marketing Consultant

Grace Child ’26 is a senior marketing major and communications minor from Bradley Beach, New Jersey. At Providence, Child is marketing co-chair of the Women in Business Club as well as an Honors Program mentor. She has experience interning in digital marketing for the Mercy Center NJ. Child is proud to represent PC Business and excited to expand her knowledge of digital marketing. She can’t wait to make a meaningful impact with this talented team!
