Meet the 2024 – 2025 Benjamin Family Social Media Fellows

The Providence College School of Business is thrilled to announce the students selected for the incoming Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship team. These ten students were selected from a competitive pool of applicants and will continue to successfully grow and develop the PCSB brand through their adept knowledge and skillset in marketing. As a team, they will enhance their experience in the field through creating, analyzing, and envisioning content for all PCSB social media platforms.
McKayla Lyons ’25 – Chief Content Officer
McKayla Lyons ’25 is a marketing major with a communications minor from Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She is also a Division I field hockey player, sits on the communications board for the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, and is a PCSB student mentor. Last summer, McKayla was a marketing intern for The McShane Companies, a commercial real estate and construction firm headquartered in Chicago. In June, she will start as a product management intern at Medline Industries, a leading medical supplies and healthcare provider on the international level. As chief content officer, she is excited to lead a talented and inspiring group, make meaningful connections, and impact the PCSB community.
Jelissa Jonas ’27 – Creative Director
Jelissa Jonas ’27, is a double major in both finance and marketing from New York, New York, as well as the Caribbean. She currently serves as the public relations executive on the Women Empowered Club and works at Academic Media Services. This summer, Jonas will be interning at Sapere Aude Consortium as an investment and wealth management intern, where she hopes to further polish her teamwork and communication skills. Her combined love for business, technology, and creativity drew her to the role of creative director. Jonas is excited to explore these loves in the role as well as share the story of how Providence College School of Business truly emulates its diverse and unique perspectives.
Mary Cate Flynn ’25 – Community Manager
Mary Cate Flynn ’25 is a marketing major from Melrose, Massachusetts. She is also involved in several extracurricular activities. Flynn is a leader of Urban Action, a pre-orientation program, a member of the Intramural Athletic Board, a social media ambassador, and on the women’s club ice hockey team. Last fall, she had the opportunity to intern and study in Dublin, Ireland, where she spent the semester interning as a digital content creator for Fighting Words, a creative writing nonprofit organization. Thanks to the amazing team, Flynn learned more about brand marketing in a professional environment abroad. She is excited to transfer her skills and continue to learn through the Benjamin Family Social Media Fellowship next year! The business school is such an amazing community that she is proud to be a part of and is looking forward to sharing this community through social media.
Ava Marini ’26 – Research Analyst
Ava Marini ’26 is a marketing major, with minors in English and Spanish, from Wilton, Connecticut. On campus, Marini serves as a small group leader in Campus Ministry’s Peer Ministry Program and is also a member of the Italian Club as well as the American Marketing Association. This summer, Marini is excited to be interning with Hatch 130, a small marketing firm near her hometown. She is also excited to be a part of the 2024-25 fellowship and looks forward to working with the new team and growing her knowledge about the field of marketing.
Nahshon Yisrael ’25 – Research Analyst
Nahshon Yisrael ’25, from Boston, Massachusetts, is majoring in marketing with a communications minor. His on-campus involvement includes being a resident assistant to vice-president of the college’s chapter of NABA, the National Association of Black Accountants, and a mentor for Transitions, a pre-orientation program for multicultural students, as well as Horizons, which supports students of color throughout their college experience. In the past, He was a communications intern at Synlogic Inc., as well as an internship last summer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a philanthropy communications intern. Yisrael is excited to see the change and growth he can create as a team in the fellowship.
Brady Manzanares ’25 – Editor
Brady Manzanares ’25, from Littleton, Colorado, is pursuing a marketing major with a finance and writing double minor. Last semester Brady interned in Milan, Italy, for Gen-USA and spent last summer with KONG Company, marketing dog toys. He is looking forward to working with the fellowship team next year, creating new ways to show his love for the Providence College community.
Faith Reis ’25 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Faith Reis ’25 is a marketing major from Lincoln, Rhode Island. On campus, she is a member of the Women in Business Club as well as the Leadership Fellows Program. Last summer, Reis worked as a social media marketing intern for Lost Trail Communications, a marketing agency. She is also excited to expand her digital marketing knowledge and make a meaningful impact on the PCSB community through the fellowship.
Evie Noto ’25 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Evie Noto ’25 is a double major in marketing and management from Lynnfield, Massachusetts. She is also a member of Admissions Ambassadors and next year will be serving on the executive board for the PCSB Student Mentorship Program as well as the vice president of Fashion Society. Her previous experience includes three social media internships. She is currently interning for Nanuvo Labs, a skincare formulation lab, and she has interned in the past for OnlyinBos and EatKlean4U. Noto is excited to collaborate and work with the other fellows and learn more about social media. She is thrilled for this great opportunity to earn hands-on experience and feels absolutely honored to be chosen.
Melissa Moran ’25 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Melissa Moran ’25 is a psychology major with marketing and communications minors from Chatham, New Jersey. On campus she is on the executive board of Admission Ambassadors and Club Pickleball. She is also a social media ambassador, a Center for Global Education Ambassador, and a member of Friar Fanatics. Moran also teaches spin classes at the Concannon Fitness Center. She has seasonally worked at Vineyard Vines in Short Hills, New Jersey serving as a part-time crew lead. She is looking forward to being a global corporate communications Intern this summer at the New York City offices of Franklin Templeton Investments. Outside of school, she loves food, traveling, shopping, hanging out with friends, and watching college basketball. Moran is so grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to work with the other fellows to make an impact on the PCSB brand!
Lindsay Augusta ’26 – Digital Marketing Consultant
Lindsay Augusta ’26 is a marketing major and communications minor from Abington, Massachusetts. She is a member of Providence’s cheerleading team and also assists in creating digital content for the team. Additionally, she is involved in the American Marketing Association and Women in Business Club. Augusta also has experience working with fitness brands such as Celsius to produce content as well. She is most excited about gaining further knowledge in digital marketing through her experience and getting to work with skilled mentors. Augusta is very proud to represent PCSB through the social media platforms and can’t wait to take on this role.
