Luke McCabe is currently President of Salem Trust Company and Managing Director, Institutional Asset Servicing and Global Custody at Argent Institutional Trust Company (AITC).

Most recently Luke was the senior vice president and executive leader of FIS’ Global Wealth Management business. Luke was also the President and CEO of Reliance Trust Company, FIS’ global assets servicing arm. Luke led the launch of this de novo business for FIS to one with now over $1.6 trillion in assets under administration.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in asset servicing and the fintech space, Luke has built his career on building innovative green field businesses and entering emerging markets. Luke was a senior vice president at State Street, responsible for managing a division focused on providing solutions for global private banks, independent trust companies, family offices, and RIAs.

Before that, he was Chief Operating Officer for eSecLending, a leading independent securities finance and asset management firm. In this role, he was responsible for the firm’s trading, asset and liability management, in addition to driving the strategic direction of the company. Luke has also held positions at Brown Brothers Harriman building their Global Securities Lending business and leading State Street’s global business development efforts in Africa and Latin America.

Luke is a 1991 graduate of Providence College, with a B.S. in Finance. He and his wife Jennifer reside in Falmouth, MA with their four children, including William, a member of Providence College’s Class of 2026. Luke is a member of the Board of Trustees of Signature Healthcare Corporation. He is also Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Falmouth Academy.
