As area president, Jeff Devron oversees Gallagher’s Chicago and Rolling Meadows brokerage offices, providing strategic leadership for complex risk management accounts and spurring overall management and growth of the Chicago Gallagher client portfolio, while relationship building with senior market executives.

Jeff has earned a reputation within the Chicago business community and insurance carriers for his ability to solve complex risk management problems and has built lasting relationships. He brings a wealth of external experience, which provides an alternative perspective thanks to the time he spent having worked outside Gallagher.

Jeff began his career with Gallagher, joining the company as a sales intern in 1994 and rising to area vice president before moving to Marsh & McLennan in 2001. At Marsh, he rose to managing director and partnership growth leader, where he led and managed a $26 million new business goal before deciding to return to Gallagher in 2015.

Jeff graduated from Providence College in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance and is an active member of Chicago’s philanthropic and business leadership community.
