PC Business students reflect on internship experience
Last summer, Providence College School of Business students took their skills beyond the classroom and gained real-world experience across different industries. Here’s a look at where they worked and what they learned.

Kenny Andrade ‘26 – Finance major and Management minor
Andrade worked at Fidelity Investments as a strategy intern last summer. “Taking a risk and going into a field I didn’t have too much knowledge on was the best thing I could’ve done and that led me to learn so much,” Andrade said. He encourages others looking for internships to take the extra step and reach out to the people who are currently working where you’d like to be one day.

Lizzie Hart ‘26 – Marketing major and Communications minor
This past summer, Hart worked as a business development & innovation Intern at ESPN. Hart had a great experience at ESPN. “Working for a network that I grew up watching was a transformative experience and felt so full circle,” she said. “I was lucky to have great mentors that included me in all their projects and daily tasks and truly felt like I was doing valuable work.” In addition, she encourages students to pursue opportunities in industries they are passionate about and credits the PC Business School for playing a key role in her success.

Aaron Diaz ’26 – Accounting major & Finance minor
Diaz worked at AAA Northeast this summer as a finance Intern. “I reviewed invoices, processed payments in Workday, supported providers, and managed queues,” he said. “Every day I learned something new.” Diaz credits the PC Business alumni network for helping him land the role, using FriarHub and LinkedIn to connect with graduates. He emphasizes treating every internship as a chance to learn and build meaningful connections.

Penelope Tejada ’26 – Finance major
Tejada spent this past summer at Apple working as a Financial Service Intern. Tejada reflected on how her summer in California was meaningful. She said, “I loved working with the Financial Services Team, who prepare me to return full-time.” Tejada will be joining Apple after graduation and joining part of their rotational program, Apple FDP!

Arsenia Brown ’26 – Accounting major & Spanish minor
Brown had a Launch internship this summer at EY where she was given the opportunity to learn about the different paths in accounting. She emphasizes putting yourself out there and to always be yourself throughout the entire internship process.

Elise Zukauskas ’27 – Marketing major
This past summer, Zukauskas worked at ALKU as a recruiter. She emphasizes how her experience strengthened her communication skills and gave her the hands-on learning she was looking for going into the summer. Her advice is to keep applying, because any hands-on learning is valuable for the future.

Faith Clark ’28 – Marketing & Communications double major
Clark worked for the Cape Cod Baseball League (Orleans Firebirds) on the marketing & media team. Clark emphasizes the amazing experience she had over the summer. She was able to work and meet people in the field that inspired her. Clark passed on some advice for others applying: “Apply for something even if you think it seems unlikely or out of reach! You never know what a hiring team is looking for and never doubt your potential!”
