AMA Ties for Third in International Collegiate Case Competition

The Providence College School of Business tied for third in the case competition at the 2019 AMA International Collegiate Conference. The competition, held in New Orleans on April 11, was sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. The PCSB team competed against schools from around the country including Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania.

“The judges were very complimentary about the team’s plan,” said Rae Caloura, practitioner faculty in marketing and the team’s adviser.

This is the first PCSB team that has broken into the top 10 finalists at the international competition. Previous teams had only received honorable mentions.

“What they have achieved is truly remarkable,” Caloura said. “They have set the bar for all future case teams.” Congratulations to the team on this exciting accomplishment!
