Two teams of PCSB finance students recently competed in an annual global competition organized by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.  The Research Challenge tests students’ ability to value a stock, write an initiation-of-coverage report, and present recommendations to professionals. This gives students real-world experience, as they are taking on the role of a financial research analyst.

Both of our teams advanced to the Connecticut & Rhode Island Regional finals, taking 2nd and 3rd place in the challenge.  The team that took 2nd place included Stephen Kozak, Sarah Clausius, Kyle Dillaway, Christopher Little, and Emily Marzo.  The students that took 3rd place were Austin King, Connor Barrett, Jason Denicola, Daniel Fiori, and Jill Levcowich. Congratulations to all of these students for their excellent work!
