Marketing Road Trip Showcases Career Opportunities

Part of the trip involved a visit to Kraft Sports Group, which owns the New England Patriots and New England Revolution.

For the first time, students from the Providence College School of Business participated in a Marketing Road Trip, visiting three industry businesses in Foxboro and Boston, Mass.

Rae Caloura, adjunct instructor of marketing, and Anne Lipsitz, graduate student adviser in the Center for Career Education and Professional Development, led the group of 10 undergraduates and three MBA students. The group visited The Kraft Group, which owns the New England Patriots and New England Revolution football and soccer teams, respectively, and the Arnold Worldwide and Mullen advertising agencies.

“Getting inside perspective from people within the advertising and sports marketing industries reaffirmed my interest in a marketing career,” said Jennifer Celli, an MBA student and the president of the MBA Association, who participated in the visits.
