Hats off to marketing majors Elisabetta DeWitt ’15, Patrick Nigro ’15 who, coached by Marketing Department Chair Ron Jelinek, competed in the 2014 Northeast Intercollegiate Sales Competition at Bryant University. The November competition featured 96 students from regional colleges. Students competed individually and took part in several elimination rounds of sales calls and were judged by representatives from Fidelity, Liberty Mutual, Microsoft, and PepsiCo, among others. DeWitt advanced to the quarterfinals, and Nigro made it deep into the semifinals, where he placed in the Top 16.
“I’m proud of them,” Jelinek says. “They worked hard, and I think they really enjoyed the experience.”
