Student Co-Curricular Activities

Our student co-curricular activities have focused on supporting student involvement in ethics case competitions.

We were delighted when our Providence College team (Seniors Connor Barrett, Cristian Higuita Montoya, Kristin Michels, and Benjamin Swiszcz) won the 2016 Berg Cup Case Competition with the best performance of the 40+ colleges and universities participating in that competition. Michael Smith Ethics Case Competition Winners

During the 2016-2017 academic year, we hosted the first Michael Smith Ethics Case Competition. The case centered on the ethics surrounding self-driving vehicles. Eighteen four-member teams of PC students competed in the semi-final round, with four teams moving to the final round. A team of four sophomores (Michael Cruz, Matthew Gould, Mitchell Pitkin, and Allison Post) won the top prize. For more information on the competition and the winning team, click here!
