New Ryan Center Opens for Business

The new Ryan Center for Business Studies officially opened last week, and within just several days, the new building is already living up to its reputation as the new home of the Providence College School of Business. In addition to hosting both undergraduate and graduate business courses in its classrooms during the week, the Ryan Center welcomed students to the Palmisano Atrium for its soft opening and a Student Celebration and Basketball Game Watch on Saturday, January 21.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., students, faculty, and administrators congregated in the town hall-like space to watch the PC Men’s Basketball game against Villanova. The first 100 PCSB students to arrive received a camping chair with our “pcbiz” logo. Lunch from Qdoba Mexican Grill was served, followed by cake designed and frosted with a rendering of the Ryan Center.

Don’t miss the below pictures! The Friars may have lost 78-68 to Villanova, but the PCSB community certainly had much to celebrate on Saturday.
