For students on the job hunt, learning proper networking and interview etiquette can be crucial to landing an offer of employment. Yet the Center for Career Education and Professional Development is offering students the opportunity to learn one more craft to add to their job search repertoire: the art of negotiating.
To assist students in negotiating details surrounding a job offer, the Center for Career Education & Professional Development will be hosting a “Negotiating Job Offers Workshop” on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Ruane LL05. The session will cover how to negotiate salaries, signing bonuses, locations, start dates, clients, and even student loan repayment programs before accepting a job offer. Panelists from Alex and Ani, Citizens, Deloitte, and Upserve will also be present.
